For me, gardening is a great way to forget about things and to remember things. Here's what I mean. If I have had a bad day or I am sad for some reason, working outside in the garden always makes me feel better. Working with green things and planning for growth helps me forget things that bothered me, or sometimes helps me to figure things out. I remember that everything needs a little time to be right.
