Kids Grow Greener

I am so glad to be working with you in your lovely school courtyard!

I don't know if you realize it, but we all---you all---did a tremendous amount of work to get the Fall Garden started. Bravo! We'll do a little more planting next week, then keep an eye on everything, keep records, and hope we don't have a blizzard before Thanksgiving.

If we get news of a blizzard coming, we will protect our young plants as well as possible. I'll show you how soon.

I think this is a good way for you to communicate with me when I am not there. For example, if you notice anything unusual as you look at the garden, it'd be good for me to know about it.

If you leave a post for me, please include your name, your team name, and your teacher's name. Little by little, I hope to get to know you all, but it may take some time!

It's fun learning how to garden but we have off this up coming Wednsday so we won't be able to garden this week

I want to know why the leaves on the coliflower are starting to lean one side?I also want to know are we going to cover the plants if we have a blizzard?

When we get to go out to the garden and I have fun when we do go.I am learning a little bit at a time on wednsdays at 9:00 and I cant wait until we go out again.I keep forgeting what kind of vegetables we are planting. I am having a fun time planting different kinds of stuff and learning how to take care of plants.This is my second time planting something in a garden, I once planted a tree with my uncle.I hope we will be able to plant more stuff in the courtyard like flowers and many other things we can do.My class is having alot of fun with this project we are doing.Thank you for helping us with this project I hope trhat you will be able to do many more things with us.

Hey Ms.M I wanted to know if we are going to grow anything else than what we already have, and if we are going to put the houses over the plants for the winter? Peace.

I like gardening but what happens to the plants after winter?Are the plants going to be still there ?Are we going to be able to take the plants or food home?

Ms.m I wonder how are we going to protect our plats if it snows?

HII, my name is Tattiana and I am looking foward to planting thanksgiving food but I dont like to touch the dirt because I got a ring worm on my arm from touching the nasty dirt.
